Composite Building Method by Waarschip
For many years Waarschip , apart from the "Waarschip"- series, also builds Specials, Racers, and One -Offs.
Waarschip has established its name and reputation by designing and building wooden construction-kits for sailing yachts from 3 to 18 metres long ( 10 to 60 ft).
During its more than 50 years existence, Waarschip has built over 5000 boats which sail all over the Globe.
Sailing Yachts which always perform well in oceanraces.
Years ago Waarschip started to build mono and multihulls Yachts constructed from various first class materials like epoxy, glass- and carbon fabrics, Kevlar and Foam.
Normally the frame is timber, although this is not a must. The combination of materials is called Composite Building.
This Waarschip method with Plywood is also eminently suitable for building large boats.
This combination of components creates a material that scores highly on the points of strenght, rigidity, light weight, little maintenance and endurance.
